The 2-piece Karella soundproofing consists of a soundproofing core, on which the steel dartboard is attached, and a surrounding soundproofing ring. Both parts are made from millions of highly specialized soundproofing fibers. The interaction of the soundproofing core and the surrounding soundproofing ring achieves almost complete noise decoupling. When the dart hits the dart, the dull knocking noise is transmitted over the back of the dartboard to the entire fiber board. In professional measurements, a noise reduction of over 80% in the dart room and adjacent rooms could be demonstrated. The measured values were below 30dB and thus the statutory night's rest remains 100% unaffected.
With its size, the anthracite-colored Karella soundproofing covers an area of 12 cm around the dartboard and is therefore also ideal as a surround due to its material composition. This dual benefit makes purchasing the Karella soundproofing even more economical. If necessary, any commercially available collecting ring can also be used without restrictions.
